Configuring Price Rules

Full Pricing rules allow flexible pricing: discounts and surcharges based on service, location, staff member, day of week, or time of day.

This feature is available from the Full Plan onwards.

Creating a New Pricing Rule

Navigate to JoomBook → Settings → Pricing Rules
Click "New Rule"
Configure the rule (fields below)
Click Save

Pricing Rule Fields

Field	Description
Pricing Rule Name	Internal name of the rule (e.g. "Weekend Discount").
Colour	Colour marker for the rule for a better overview.
Type	Discount (lowers the price) or Surcharge (raises the price).
Amount	Value of the price adjustment.
Amount Type	Percent (%) or Fixed Amount.
Validity (Valid From / Valid Until)	Optional period during which the rule applies. Leave empty = always active.
Show in Booking Wizard	If enabled, a promotional hint for this rule is displayed to customers in the booking wizard.
Status	Active or inactive. Active rules cannot be deleted - disable them first.

Conditions

Use Add Condition to define when the rule applies. All conditions must be met; a rule with no conditions always applies. Each condition has an operator is or is not. Available condition types:

Service
Location
Staff
Day of Week
Booking Time (time window from - to)

There is no priority field - which rule applies is controlled solely by the conditions.
